This week, we talk about the sun. We go over some of the things we’ve been taught about the sun, that we personally questioned, and found not to be entirely true. We get into sun gazing and some of its purported benefits. Our conversation then goes into seed oils, their history, and how when consumed they can negatively affect the body, especially when combined with exposure to the sun. Finally, we examine a popular sun screen and its ingredients and what they are supposed to do. We also talk about our personal experiences with the sun, sunscreen, sunglasses, and as always, we try to have some fun the whole way through. We say this all the time but it bears repeating: do your own research and come to your own conclusions. We are not medical doctors and do not claim to be, nor should anything we talk about in this episode be considered medical advice.
This week, we are joined by the wonderful author and podcaster, Leslie Fear! We have an extraordinary conversation about how Leslie began healing her childhood trauma with both of her parents after they died. Leslie is pure proof that we all have gifts and abilities and it is possible to unlock the doors to our potential with a bit of work, which we discuss. In the past two weeks, we each attended a funeral. This brought up some interesting conversations and we thought we would share them with you. We questioned the customs of the Catholic church masses such as sitting, standing, sitting, standing, kneeling, sitting, standing, kneeling, and you guessed it, more standing. We share some of our thoughts on organized religion and bring forward some ideas and insights received during the funeral masses we attended such as “Was Jesus really a metaphor?” and much more.
