This week, we recount some stories from our time in professional wrestling. Alex tells of his time in Puerto Rico and Memphis including when he was involved in a riot and what caused it, overcoming the language barrier with his partner and opponents, the kindness of Kurt Angle, the greatness of Jim Cornette, and more! Monique also shares the first time she learned about kayfabe! It’s a fun trip down memory lane and we’ll revisit some more stories again soon!
This week, we talk all about goals! What are they? Why are they so important? Why do so many people set them but give up on them before they achieve them? We also share personal stories about times we set and achieved goals ourselves. It’s a fun chat and hopefully one that inspires!
It’s a “Homewrecker Hypothetical” edition of the podcast this week as we discuss what we think could happen if power and electricity was suddenly gone. Would people have to start figuring out how to do things the way their ancestors did before the conveniences of modern life began? Would the government or some organization save them? Would we experience chaos and desperation? No one really knows what the future holds, but it may be a good idea to start taking action to prepare JUST IN CASE.
This week, we review WWE WrestleMania XL! We talk about all of the matches including The Rock returning to the ring to team with Roman Reigns against Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes in the main event of Night One, the excellent women’s championship matches with champ Rhea Ripley taking on Becky Lynch and Bayley challenging champ Iyo Sky, Sami Zayn ending the longest Intercontinental Championship reign of all time by defeating Gunther, and Cody Rhodes finally finishing his story and defeating Roman Reigns in the main event of Night Two to win the WWE Universal Championship. We also talk a little about a recent WWE live event that Alex attended, whether or not the ladders used in the ladder match were fake, and more!
This week, we talk about a science fiction movie titled: Science Report: Alternative 3. In this film(with what was considered by its creators to be an outlandish plot), we learn that humans are colonizing Mars because the Earth was becoming uninhabitable. The film was presented to a television audience in several countries in 1977, and upon its conclusion, many viewers believed it was real. Ultimately, this belief helped to spawn a whole industry of conspiracy theories and culture that continues to this day.
This week, we’ll take a look at a book that was classified by the government when it first came out, was partially released decades later with parts redacted, yet was freely available to be purchased by the public all along. The Adam and Eve Story by Chan Thomas tells the purported history of cataclysms and we’ll talk all bout it, what to expect, what to make sure to have with you if you survive it, and more! As always, we strongly urge everyone to do their own research and come to their own conclusions.
This week we talk about what some popular food products have put on their labels or claimed in their marketing that turned out to be false. Is something labeled “organic” or “non-GMO” really so? How about products that claim they are “third party tested”? We’ll go over a number of examples and give our thoughts. As always, we urge everyone to do their own research and make their own decisions.
This week, we give a quick update on some new information that has come out about VInce McMahon and the WWE’s handling of a rape allegation from a former women’s wrestler. Then, we get into a discussion about Turmeric and how all of the claims that have been made about it are based on made-up research claims. As always, do your own research and make up your own mind. Disclaimer: We are not medical professionals and we urge you to do your own research.
This week, we talk about Vince McMahon, the former head of World Wrestling Entertainment, and the troubling lawsuit brought against him by a former employee who alleges some very disturbing things. In the wake of the lawsuit, McMahon has resigned from his position in the newly formed TKO group and is no longer a part of the WWE.
This week we talk about more disturbing testing that has been done on unsuspecting participants by those in positions of power. Warning: all of what we discuss is disturbing.
