This week, we have our buddies Sean Gorman and Morgan join us for some pro wrestling watch-along fun! First up, we watch the War to Settle the Score as “Rowdy” Roddy Piper takes on Hulk Hogan in Madison Square Garden in New York City from February 18, 1985. This historic match led to the first WrestleMania and we talk all about the build-up and why the match was so important.
Then we watch Bret “The Hitman” Hart go one on one with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin in a Submission Match at WrestleMania 13 from Chicago, Illinois on March 23, 1997. This match featured the famous “double turn” as “The Hitman” became one of the most hated men in WWE and “Stone Cold” became one of the most popular.
This was a really fun episode for all of us and we hope you enjoy it!
